Food & Symptom Diary
It can be so tough to work out what foods are safe or what cause a reaction.
I don't know about you, but I can't remember what I ate yesterday never mind a week ago, so how do you keep track of what your child ate and drank too?
If you're breastfeeding, it's all the more important to keep track of what you AND your child are eating and drinking.
Detailing your child's symptoms, medications, nappies & sleep also helps you to piece the jigsaw together in a much easier and detailed way.
Immediate reactions are much easier to spot and work out the cause due to the timing & type of reaction.
Delayed (or non IgE) reactions can take up to three days to present themselves, making it much harder to pinpoint which food caused a reaction.
To help with this, I have created a food & symptom diary template for you to keep track of all the relevant information in one place.
Keep the diary going for at least 2 weeks, or as long as you are trying new foods, to help you see any patterns that will pinpoint what is going on.
